My sister and my aunt are the askers on this one, and as someone who has tried to make their skin not red I am at a bit of an impasse. I have tried and failed with you hookers before, but I have found some new shit that also should be tried.
The other thing I should probably mention is The Dermatologist. Roseacea is a tough nut to crack, but there are really nice prescription products like Metro Gel that people swear by!
My mom has three eyelashes. Seriously. You can't eff around with ladies who have a hard time with mascara. The best stuff will clump and mess on these girls. These two won't. I don't know why I believe this to be true, but if you have dark circles, a gel texture eye treatment is best. I usually have some line of scientific bullshit to back this up, but this time I have nowhere to hide. I like the texture, and I feel like it gets deeper into the skin and really pushes all that pooled blood out from underneath your eye. These are some of the ones I've tried.
Come to find out, these shadows were actually formulated to be liners. which is why they are hard to blend. In my mind, all dark shadows could fit the bill, but an expert friend gave me stink eye when I said that. Bobbi really made them this way.
I think all liners should be finished with a swipe of dark shadow but I rarely use them by themselves. Like I love Clinique Quickliner for Eyes which has liner and then a shadow smudger on the other end. Awesome.
Also Bobbi's color Caviar is awesome and can be purchased as a pencil, a shadow, and a gel liner.
. That's right. A powder as a eyeliner. Wet or dry.
